Sharing Marijuana for Personal Use
Is it legal to grow marijuana for personal use in Virginia?
The short answer is yes but they are restrictions for cultivating cannabis for personal use in Virginia.
In my particular situation there are 2 adults living in the household and on the same property. All 4 plants are tagged in my name and in accordance with state law and the other household adult has NONE!
Why Home Cultivation and Adult Sharing are right for me.
In Virginia a person 21 years of age or older may lawfully possess on his person or in any public place not more than one ounce of marijuana or an equivalent amount of marijuana product as determined by regulation promulgated by the Board.
"Adult Sharing" means transferring marijuana between persons who are 21 years of age or older without remuneration.
My interpretation of this is that as long as I have no more that 1 ounce of cannabis on me in public I can have more than 1 strain or stains of cannabis as long as the combined weight does not exceed 1 ounce.
What are the advantages of Adult sharing?
